The spotlight was on the Ray White Catanzariti Family Group last week at the Rate MyAgentAwards held at the prestigious Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne. In what was an incredible evening of achievement for the team led by Principal, Peter Catanzariti, the event saw the team taking to the stage over and over, collecting a total of nine first place awards, and being recognised among their peers as leaders across all facets of the real estate industry.
The RateMyAgent Awards are one of the industry’s most anticipated events, as it is the only awards event that recognises real estate achievements based on customer satisfaction, rather than numbers. It is also an opportunity for agents and business leaders from across the country to come together and celebrate their one-of-a-kind industry surrounded by the glitz and glamour of a formal event. The Ray White Catanzariti Family Group were there on the real estate red carpet, ready to celebrate following another busy year for them on the northern Gold Coast.

‘I love that these awards are based on client feedback’, said Peter Catanzariti, ‘As a principal, just having our offices and agents nominated validates to me that we are certainly providing that world class service that we strive for’, he said.
Despite being nominated across several categories, The Group never expected to come away from the black-tie event with so many wins. Two of the Group’s four sales offices took out Sales Office of the Year: one for Pimpama, and another for their Upper Coomera office. It was a clean sweep in the rental categories too, with the team winning Rental Office of the Year for Coomera and Upper Coomera, as well as taking out another biggie—Rental Office of the Year for the entire Gold Coast region. The team’s always-humble principal attributed the wins to his entire staff.
‘It’s not just about our talented agents’, Peter said, ‘As a business surrounded by an ecosystem of support, these awards bestow on our amazing administrative team the recognition that they truly deserve for all of their hard work’.
It was victory after victory for the team in the individual categories too. Pimpama Specialist for the Group, Jason Atkinson rose above his competitors to take out Agent of the Year for the suburb; and it was an award that he had now claimed for the 5th year in a row.

‘Winning this award again in the presence of my brilliant peers in our amazing industry is truly humbling. It’s just an absolute privilege’, he said.
Savannah Davis, a team member, and agent passionate about servicing the Gold Coast’s Ormeau Hills, said that she was in disbelief when she was awarded Agent of the Year for the suburb.
‘I could not believe it!’ she said, ‘I really didn’t expect it. But it was nice to be recognised for all of the hours that I put into my clients, and in making sure that they are happy’.
The big winner for the team, no doubt, was their rising star in the real estate industry, Brad Wilson. Having dominated the competition in his Upper Coomera market in only four short years, it was no surprise when the 24-year-old marvel took to the stage to accept the Agent of the Year Awards for Upper Coomera and the Gold Coast region. What he and the team weren’t expecting was his next award. Brad had barely made it back to his seat before he was called to the stage again, this time for the big one; an achievement truly awe-inspiring for the young gun—he had taken out Agent of the Year for the entire state of Queensland.
Brad admitted that it was surreal to be acknowledged as the best among some of the sunshine’s states finest, and that he was elated at the abundance of quality feedback RateMyAgent had received from his clients.
‘I work hard for my clients’, he said, ‘They are my absolute priority and I work seven days a week with an amazing team around me to meet their needs.’
‘I’d like to thank my clients, thank them for their trust in me’, he said.
Brad and the team danced the night away in the ballroom to celebrate the multiple wins for the Ray White Catanzariti Family Group, and while the spirit of achievement was high, a feeling of hunger also permeated the dancefloor among the buzzing group.
‘We will be back at the RateMyAgent Awards next year, bigger and better, with even more amazing client reviews,’ said Peter Catanzariti.
