Plans for a giant 333 million-dollar mega tower next to Warner Brothers Movie World are expected to cause yet another bump for property values on the northern Gold Coast.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks have submitted plans for a 22-storey, 600 room hotel that will boast 3 function rooms, a panoramic sky deck with infinity pool and bar, as well as a whole floor of specialty restaurants, bars, and dining options, all open to the public.
The development is set to provide the northern Gold Coast with a new lifestyle hotspot; locals can expect to dine at one of the towers’ 5-star venues or relax and watch the sun set with a cocktail from the tower’s premier rooftop deck.
The developer, headed by Clark Kirby, says that the project will create 799 new construction jobs during its two-year construction, with a further 400 full-time jobs created for the hospitality industry in the tower’s first five years of operation.
In addition to bringing value to the real estate market in the surrounding areas, Kirby also expects it will inject 840-million-dollars into the tourism economy; a boost that is indeed welcomed by many northern Gold Coast families, communities, and business owners.
