A new shopping centre that will feature a Woolworths has been approved to be built on Brygon Creek Drive in Upper Coomera.
In addition to the Woolworths, the shopping centre will cater for two other tenancies of around 150sqm and 300sqm. The development will also include 235 parking spaces.
Ray White Upper Coomera team leader, Peter Catanzariti believes that this is a fantastic development in the heart of the Northern Growth Corridor of the Gold Coast and will be very convenient for those who live around the area.
Originally approved by the Gold Coast City Council in March 2015, the development was then appealed by Westfield and Lewani Springs Resort Pty Ltd. These were the original builders of the already existing complex in Upper Coomera called Coomera Square, which also features a Woolworths.
The appeal later went to court and construction has been approved, under the condition that no tenant begins trading before the 1st of December 2019.
