Games boost for Coomera

Coomera is home to the brand-new community multipurpose sports centre which has an approximate site area of 39,500 metres squared. The centre has a number of advantages for the community. The construction of the centre has created over 1,000 jobs since early 2015.

According to Peter Catanzariti from Ray White Upper Coomera, it’s great news for the whole community.

“It truly is a fantastic facility that will leave a positive legacy for the community to grow and thrive for many years after the games have been and gone”.

Coomera and surrounding suburbs such as Upper Coomera and Pimpama will thrive around the time of the games and residents of these areas are able to take advantage of what the Coomera Indoor Sports centre has to offer and will be able to continue to utilise the centre once the Commonwealth Games have finished.

Currently, the sports centre is being used by the community for a number of sports such as volleyball, basketball, dance competitions and little athletics.

The Commonwealth Games are also increasing the suburb recognition in Coomera, Upper Coomera and Pimpama with many interstate and overseas buyers knowing more about the area and as such are willing to pay more to enter the market.

“With Coomera growing at such a rate, this venue will be fully utilised by the community now and into the future.” The Upper Coomera team leader also believes that now is the time to sell whilst there are plenty of buyers willing to pay more to have the opportunity to be closer to the games when they commence.
