A boost for locals in Upper Coomera

Local Upper Coomera residents are the big winners with the announcement that the old Upper Coomera Masters store is going to be transformed into a retail homemaker centre.

The Masters store at Upper Coomera is to be one of the stores that will be transformed into a retail hub. From daily needs to electrical, leisure, lifestyles store and more, locals can expect that this will have a huge impact on the growth in Upper Coomera and the surrounding areas.

Retailers like the Good Guys, Spotlight and JB Hi-Fi are expected to be placed in this Master store. In addition to this, lifestyle hubs that include childcare services, cafes, supermarkets, gyms and medical centres are also expected to make use of part of the space in these Masters stores.

Leisure stores such as Anaconda, BCF and Rebel Sport will also be incorporated into these new retail hubs.

By transforming these Master stores into lifestyle, leisure and retail hubs, approximately 150 stable jobs are expected to be created at each store.

During the construction of the hubs, anywhere between 100 and 150 jobs will be created.

Peter Catanzariti from Ray White Upper Coomera says that this will create fantastic job opportunity for locals as well as better retail competition in Upper Coomera and surrounding areas.

Developers are also hoping that the hubs will be of convenience to customers and the construction of these stores is expected to take up to four months per building.
