A number of new residential subdivisions are either underway or planned for the future. These include waterfront properties along the Coomera River and lakeside homes at Regatta Waters, a Joint Venture by AVJennings and Metricon due for completion in 2007.
Acreage properties still scatter the landscape, allowing quiet ‘country’ living within close proximity to a range of local amenities, together with easy access to the Gold Coast and Brisbane City.
Residents at Oxenford have a selection of nearby shopping complexes to choose from, including Westfield Helensvale Town Centre which was opened in October 2005.
Education is well catered for with a number of existing private and state schools servicing the suburb. New schools are planned for development within the immediate area to cater for increasing demand.
Home to Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild, and only minutes from other major Australian theme parks, Oxenford has benefited from significant industry investment. In particular, a significant number of Film and Interactive Media firms have established an industry ‘hub’ in the vicinity of Movie World.
Oxenford’s steady growth looks set to continue with acreage, residential and riverfront estates providing a variety of property options, ideal for the family market.
